Experience the ultimate smoky and tender BBQ Ribs inspired by The Walking Dead Terminus. Juicy, flavorful, and easy to prepare for any special occasion or weekend feast.

  • Total Time: 3 hours 15 minutes
  • Yield: 4-6 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 racks of pork ribs (preferably baby back or spare ribs)
  • 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: Grilled vegetables or coleslaw

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Alternatively, prepare the ribs on a grill or smoker for added smoky flavor.
  2. Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs. Rub the ribs generously with a mixture of salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil, then cover tightly with foil to lock in moisture.
  4. Bake in the oven for about 2.5 to 3 hours until tender. For extra tenderness, delay removing the foil.
  5. Once cooked, brush the ribs generously with BBQ sauce mixed with honey and brown sugar for a sticky glaze.
  6. Optional: Finish on the grill over medium-high heat for 5 minutes per side, basting with more BBQ sauce for a charred finish.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, baste the ribs with additional BBQ sauce during the last few minutes of grilling or baking.
  • Allow the ribs to rest for 10 minutes before slicing for juicier results.
  • Using a meat thermometer ensures perfect tenderness; target an internal temperature of 190°F.
