Instructions
- Begin by blooming the gelatin: In a medium bowl, sprinkle the gelatin powder over 1 cup of cold water and let it sit for 5 minutes until it thickens.
- In a saucepan, bring 1 cup of boiling water to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in the gelatin mixture until completely dissolved.
- Add the remaining 2 cups of blue-flavored drink or Kool-Aid to the mixture, stirring well to combine. You can sweeten it further with sugar if desired.
- For a shimmering ocean effect, incorporate edible glitter or shimmer dust as per the package instructions.
- Pour the mixture into a large clear mold, replicating the ocean’s vastness. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or until fully set.
