- 1 packet active dry yeast (2 ΒΌ teaspoons)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 cup warm water (110Β°F)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (plus more for drizzling)
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup diced pepperoni or your favorite vegetables
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, and yeast.
- Combine warm water and sugar, then add to the flour mixture. Add olive oil and mix until a rough dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for about 1 hour.
- Once risen, roll the dough out into a rectangle. Spread marinara sauce, sprinkle cheese, and add pepperoni or vegetables evenly. Sprinkle Italian seasoning on top.
- Roll the dough into a log, sealing the ends. Place on a lined baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and bake at 375Β°F (190Β°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat stromboli in the oven or microwave until heated through.
