- 12 mozzarella sticks
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 cups Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oil to 350°F (175°C).
- Coat mozzarella sticks in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and roll in breadcrumbs.
- Fry in hot oil until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels and transfer to a serving platter.
- Spread marinara sauce over the mozzarella sticks, drizzle with olive oil, and garnish with basil.
Notes
Ensure oil is hot enough for crispy coating. Serve immediately with additional marinara for dipping.
