- Extra bread dough for legs
Instructions
- Activate yeast by mixing warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and olive oil. Add activated yeast mixture and knead until smooth.
- Cover dough and let rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide into a large ball and smaller portions for legs.
- Shape the large ball into a round body. Slice black olives for eyes and press onto the body.
- Shape bread dough into thin strips for legs and attach around the body to resemble a spider.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
