Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup Sprite or sparkling green tea
- 1/4 cup cold brewed matcha green tea (cooled)
- 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 1 tbsp honey or agave syrup
- 1/2 tsp spirulina powder (for intense green hue)
- 1/4 tsp activated charcoal (optional, for depth)
- Edible glitter (gold or silver)
- Ice cubes
- Garnish: lime wheel, mint sprig, edible silver stars
Instructions
- Frim chill the serving glass (ideally a vintage apothecary-style flask) in freezer for 5 minutes.
- In a shaker, combine matcha, lime juice, honey, spirulina, and a splash of Sprite to activate. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds.
- Fill the chilled glass with ice, then gently pour in remaining Sprite (or sparkling tea) to preserve bubbles.
- Stir gently with a gold-rimmed spoon. Sprinkle edible glitter on top.
- Garnish with lime wheel, mint sprig, and edible silver stars for magical flair.
Notes
- For a stronger green hue, increase spirulina (but start small—it can be bitter in excess).
- For older audiences, add a splash of Midori melon liqueur or gin for a spiked version.
- Non-carbonated version: use 1 cup chilled green tea + 1/4 tsp matcha + 1 tbsp lime + honey, served over crushed ice.
