Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C), line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg and vanilla, mix well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet, mixing until dough forms.
- Divide dough, tint portions with food coloring, and roll into smooth balls. Dust with edible metallic glitter for a magnetized effect.
- Place dough balls on baking sheet, spacing apart.
- Press a chocolate chip or candy-coated chocolate into the center of each ball.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden. Cool on wire racks.
- Optional: Dust cooled cookies with edible metallic luster dust for extra sparkle.
