Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked.
- Add chopped onion and garlic; sauté until soft.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, kidney beans, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve hot, topped with shredded cheese and fresh parsley.
Notes
- You can add chopped jalapeños for extra heat.
- For a smokier flavor, include smoked paprika.
