- 4 slices sourdough bread
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- 4 oz cheddar cheese, sliced
- 6 slices deli turkey
- 2 slices tomato
- 1 cup lettuce leaves
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- Optional pickle spears or chips
Instructions
- Butter one side of each bread slice.
- Spread Dijon mustard on the unbuttered sides.
- Layer cheese, turkey, tomato, and lettuce between two slices.
- Close and grill in a skillet until bread is golden and cheese melts.
- Slice in half and serve with pickles or chips.
Notes
- Use thick-cut bread for best melt.
- Grill until cheese is perfectly gooey and bread is crisp.
- Can be made in a panini press for even toasting.
