Instructions
- Mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a bowl.
- Whisk warm milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla; combine with dry ingredients to form a soft dough.
- Cover and let rise 45-60 minutes until puffed.
- Roll to about 1/2 inch thick and cut into Mickey shapes or circles; re-roll scraps.
- Heat oil to 360°F (182°C); fry until golden and puffed, 1-2 minutes per side.
- Drain, dust with powdered sugar, and serve warm.
Notes
- Keep dough soft; add a splash more milk if needed.
- Maintain oil temperature for even frying.
