- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9 inch pan or mini muffin tins.
- Whisk dry ingredients in a bowl; in another bowl whisk wet ingredients.
- Combine wet and dry until just moistened; fold in the honey for extra shine.
- Pour into pan or muffin cups; bake 12-15 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool slightly; drizzle extra honey if desired.
Notes
- Sub honey with maple syrup for a lighter flavor.
- For dairy-free, use almond milk and coconut oil.
- Store at room temperature in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
