- 1 lb ground chicken
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 cup finely shredded cabbage
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 package wonton wrappers
- Water for sealing
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine chicken, cabbage, garlic, ginger, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, sugar, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Place 1 heaped teaspoon of filling in the center of each wrapper. Moisten edges with water and seal the pleats well.
- Cook by steaming for 6-8 minutes, or pan-fry in a little oil until bottoms are golden then add a splash of water to steam through.
- Serve with dipping sauce or soy-ginger sauce.

- Can be steamed, pan-fried (potstickers), or boiled.
- Use tamari for gluten-free option.
- Keep filling moist but not overworked to avoid tough dumplings.
