Instructions

- Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs, milk, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla.
- Gradually add dry ingredients; mix until just combined.
- Pour into pan and bake 22-28 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool and whisk together glaze ingredients; drizzle over cooled cake.
Notes
- Use room temperature ingredients for a tender crumb.
- Do not overmix; mix until just combined to keep cakes light.
