Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon butterscotch syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets.
  2. Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  3. In another bowl, whisk melted butter, brown sugar, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Stir in dry ingredients until just combined; fold in chips.
  5. Scoop dough, chill 30 minutes if possible.
  6. Bake 9-11 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft. Cool on wire racks.
