- For the meatballs: 1 lb ground beef or turkey, 1/2 cup breadcrumbs, 1 egg, 2 cloves garlic, 1/4 cup grated parmesan, 1/4 cup milk, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- Olive oil for brushing
- 1 baguette, sliced for garlic bread
- 4 Tbsp butter, 2 cloves garlic minced, 1 Tbsp chopped parsley
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375F. Line a sheet pan.
- In a bowl, mix beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, parmesan, milk, salt, and pepper. Form small balls and place on the sheet; bake 15-18 minutes until browned.
- Warm marinara sauce; toss meatballs in sauce to coat.
- Slice baguette, brush with garlic butter, bake until golden.
- Arrange meatballs and garlic bread on a platter; finish with mozzarella and basil for a spooky look.
Notes
- Substitute ground turkey for a lighter version.
- Add red pepper flakes for heat or extra garlic for stronger flavor.
