- 8 mini waffles (Eggo brand or similar)
- 1/2 lb ground beef or turkey for slider patties
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 small pickle slices (optional)
- 2 tbsp butter, for toasting
- 1 tbsp maple syrup or maple glaze
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: 4 slices cooked bacon
Instructions
- Toast the mini waffles in a hot skillet with butter until golden and crisp.
- Season the slider patties with salt and pepper and cook in a skillet or grill until browned and just cooked through.
- Top each patty with a cheddar slice to melt.
- Assemble by placing a patty on a waffle, adding a pickle slice, and topping with a second waffle.
- Drizzle with maple syrup and add bacon if using. Serve warm.
Notes
- Toast waffles in butter until golden for extra crunch
- Assemble patties on waffles while cheese is still melting
- To keep hands clean, secure with toothpicks
- For a vegetarian version, use mushroom or veggie patties
