- 12 oz penne pasta
- 2 cups cremini mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chili flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente.
- In a large skillet, sauté mushrooms and garlic in olive oil until golden.
- Stir in cream and cheese until thickened, then fold in spinach until wilted.
- Toss with pasta, season, and serve with extra Parmesan.
Notes
- Best with a side salad or garlic bread.
- To lighten, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
